Design Story

How It's Made

When Thierry first approached us with his vision for a Porsche 928 restomod, we thought he was a madman. It wasn't until we saw Carlo's design from the renowned automotive design house Borromeo de Silva that we realized the potential to reincarnate this iconic German UFO.

The Porsche 928 exudes a lightweight and nimble volume, structured and taut while remaining round and curvaceous. In person, the rear of the car is mesmerizing, likely where the 'spaceship' moniker originates. Capturing the essence of this vehicle required a holistic approach to its volume, supported by elements that poetically interpret iconic features such as the rear windows and the striation patterns reminiscent of the headlamp structure, center console, and rear diffuser. This design beautifully blends a poetic interpretation of the 928 with literal visual elements.
